WHAT TO EXPECT

During the interview, expect to spend a few hours of engagement time. During this period, together we will work out your goals and objectives for the creation, what you like and don’t like about your competition, review a few references the client provides relative to their specific Genre and competition, and more details about the mix in general.

To help understand the clients desires, it is important to understand their vision for the creation – how they would like the vocals to “sit” in the mix, how the vocals relate to other instruments, how they would like to showcase certain instruments and solos, etc. AES will help guide the client through these discussions.

Questions ARE always welcome. Here is a video link that relates to the importance of communication between engineering and clients from Justin Colletti:

Prior to the interview, AES would like to receive your files a few days early so that we can review them and be prepared for the interview. This will allow us to make recommendations on the productions.

MUSIC GENRE

AES has experience in many Genre. Areas in which we do not have experience are Hip Hop, Grunge, Trance and Metal. Contact us to discuss your specific music style and needs.
